Hello!

I am Dr. Aditi Paul. A 30-something researcher, political analyst and blogger from New Delhi, India.

I started Mastering International Relations (MIR) as a place to share my love for International relations (IR) subject as well as help the budding PhD scholars in their quest to achieve a Doctorate Degree. 

IR is part of the larger discipline - Political Science. While, on the one hand, political science deals with state politics, government systems, comparative government, etc. IR discusses world history and its dynamics. It particularly studies United Nations and other international and regional organizations. IR interests those who seek to study inter-state relations be it political, economic or cultural. IR dabbles with subjects like history and geography for understanding the cultural, political and economic evolution of human beings. IR examines the reasons why states are formed and what makes each of their workings different from one another. If you are interested in knowing why and how state leaders become friends or foes, IR is well equipped to make you understand the interplay of diplomacy alongside use of arms.

MIR is currently a free-to-access-all website. It is also open to questions from readers and requests for indepth analysis on any issue related to international relations, political science and so on.
