This article was my first ever publication.
In 2010 when I was doing my Masters Degree in Jawaharlal Nehru University (India), I took a course on Gender and International Relations.
Intrigued to read and write more besides the scores of assignments that I used to get, I wrote this piece and thought of getting it published.
The feeling of my article getting chosen for publication and acknowledged is still fresh.
