Dalit Movement in India

Indian politics also includes politics of the oppressed sections or most popularly called Dalit Consciousness. It is about their search for identity and honor, improving socio-economic status, and fight the unequal casteism.


Dalit movements have centered on promoting anti-caste debates and reforming the representation of the Dalits in the Indian society.
